Billing questions
Who counts as a user?
Every licensed user on your Jira site, whether or not they open Canopy. That is how the Atlassian Marketplace bills every app.
How does the free trial work?
Atlassian runs it: 30 days, once per site. A monthly subscription carries on into paid unless it is cancelled; an annual one stops at day 30 until you buy.
Canopy reminds you five days before the trial ends.
What happens if we stop paying?
Canopy turns read-only while Atlassian keeps it running, and says so on screen. Atlassian removes a lapsed app 60 days after the subscription ends.
Your work items and their parent-child links are Jira's own and are never affected. Canopy's saved Views, Branches, palettes, templates and baselines go when the app is removed.
Can we buy through a partner or pay by invoice?
Billing, quotes and invoices are handled by Atlassian, the same as for any Marketplace app, and Atlassian Solution Partners can buy on your behalf.
Do we pay Bloomlogic directly?
No. Your contract for payment is with Atlassian. The terms page explains who does what.
